I keep wondering to myself when I'm going to finally see the sky again. I've forgotten where I'm at. What year this is. What this all means.

In a materialistic society, you're taught from an early age that when you need something, you just get enough money and get it. Now, if that means you have to do things you might not find in fitting with the life you've thought you'd chosen ... so be it.

And in a materialistic society, the best is supposed to be the side that has the most money. The nicest clothes. The best accessories.

My life is so out of focus right now. I can't even begin to understand this anymore. Disillusioned seems to be the word I'm looking for.

I mean, the straight-laced, money-isn't-an-option, spend-whatever-it-takes mentality couldn't ... just ... wither away.

Does this mean ... no. It can't. Not yet.

What happens when the lesser millionaires beat the greater millionaires?

Is it the upset of the century? Is it a blow for democracy?

Or is just a sign of the times?

Is it a sample of how capitalism has eaten itself.

The haves have. The have somes have some. The have nots have not.
